"I have an extra chromosome, and that extra chromosome is having the joy of living and expressing that with people. Marie-Sophie
"I love my job because I make people happy." Céline
Located in the heart of the Brussels business district, on Avenue Louise, this chic and gastronomic restaurant offers you a culinary and human experience during a timeless moment for a business lunch or dinner, with friends or family.
It is in a way "normal and a little different" as it employs 11 people with mild to moderate mental disabilities (Down's syndrome, autism, mental retardation). Founded in 2018, this gastronomic and inclusive restaurant has a dual mission
1. To offer quality employment to people who generally do not have a chance in the world of work.
2. Influencing others, convincing them that anything is possible, that inclusion is an added value in companies (snowball effect).
In Belgium, more than 10,000 people are affected by Down's Syndrome, which is more than 1 in 1,000 people. Many more have other mental disabilities. And yet, their presence in society is very limited on a daily basis. The challenge of 65 Degrees is to demonstrate that it is possible, in a demanding company, to work with people whose disability is only one aspectBut they have so many other qualities that are waiting to be revealed.
Be curious, make a reservation and let yourself be seduced by the outstanding service of Dimitri, Marie-Sophie, Céline, Nathalie, Tristan, Steven,... and the whole extra team of 65 degrees. You will be received with love, a contagious smile and unparalleled professionalism. Don't wait any longer, you won't be disappointed!
