93% of adults with learning disabilities in the UK are unemployed. To combat this high unemployment rate, Fairshot is encouraging adults with learning difficulties to learn the skills they need during an 11-month placement as a server.
During their apprenticeship at Fairshot, trainees will learn the essential practical and theoretical skills of a waiter. This will enable them to find a job in the hospitality sector. Fairshot will accompany them during the 6 months following their internship with coaching in collaboration with several partners (university, coaches, .
